Having A Tea Party?

October 9, 2008

Celebrating the release of Sleeping Beauty with a princess tea party like we are?  Well, if you’re not a baker or you don’t want all of those extra calories or sugar, add some Haba Petit Rose- Set of Four Petit Fours to the menu.

Bediboo has the Petit Four set as as well as the Haba Sweet Trio of Muffins for your princess’ sugar-free bash.  And, the Melissa and Doug Ice Cream Parlor set makes those little cakes and muffins a la mode.

Visit Bediboo online, in person in Baltimore, or visit the store blog.

Pop-Up Dollhouse Book

October 1, 2008

My friend Kim got each of my girls the coolest gift for their birthdays.  These pop-up books are dollhouses- complete with furniture and people!  Play with the paper dolls and furniture inside the house when you tie both covers of this hardcover book together with the attached ribbons.

Miss Addy got the Victorian Dollhouse and Miss Piper was given the Princess Palace.  These were a huge hit with the girls, who are very fickle with their things.  These books get play every single day- even after a month and a half.

What an awesome gift- you can’t go wrong giving one of the dollhouse books to a little girl aged 4 to 8.

My Chic Things

September 30, 2008

OK.  I totally slacked and was going to write something cool about My Chic Things.  But I just got on this computer, it’s midnight, drama is following me, I’ve got class all day tomorrow and I’m falling asleep sitting up.  Poor, poor, poor me.

So please check out My Chic Things for yourself.  There are goodies for everyone- especially mommy-type peoples.  I’ll let the site speak for itself. :)

Wizard Of Oz Junkies

September 25, 2008

If your Dorothy wannabe needs the props to put on her shows, reenact movie scenes, or just look fabulous, check out the Wizard of Oz Dress Up Trunk from Young Explorers.

My Miss Addy and her pal Emmy are all about that yellow brick road and sparkly red shoes at the moment.  So, in a sea of Hannahs this Halloween, there will be at least two blue and white checkered dresses rocking two pairs of ruby slippers, which we bought from the Gymboree outlet last month!

Whether you want the 3 chick costumes (Glinda, Dorothy, and the Wicked Witch) for Halloween or dress up, you’ll love how they come complete with accessories- even ruby slippers- all for under $35.

Again, the credit for this find goes to my friend Dana, who discovered this toy while thumbing through a catalog at the Y waiting for her daughter to finish gymnastics yesterday. ;)  Thanks, Dana!

Buh-Bye Summer! :(
