Consignment Sales R Fun!

I really love to frequent kids clothing consignment sales!  They are more organized than a yard sale, and I get to feel like I’m on a treasure hunt!  I search for the boutique in a sea of Mary Kate & Ashley and Circo.  It’s something to be done alone or with girlfriends, but most definitely kid-free if you can swing it.  Concentration is a must.  Focus on finding the golden ticket: boutique clothing at rock bottom prices.

I’m certain that every place in the US has their fair share of organized kids consignment sales (or at the very least a kids consignment store).  These events are a stroke of genius.  Sell your stuff and make money to buy other stuff.  Brilliant!

In Maryland, Wee-Cycle Mart is a biggie.  There are others too, but I just got an email from them stating that they open for consignors to register for their Fall sales.  Also- learn how to earn a higher commission by helping to pimp it out.

If you feel like doing a little closet purging (I love to do this!), are in need of making some moola, and/or are doing some school shopping, check your area for consignment sales!  Often, people price their stuff cheap because they do not want to lug it back into their house or, they don’t know the value.

I’m not consigning at any sale now- I’m too anal to let enough stuff pile up to make it worthwhile.  As soon as I get a handful of things to sell, I’m on the phone with Lucy’s, setting up my appointment.  Oh- and you can sell there too- no matter where you are in the US.  They offer long distance consignment!
