Cat, Kittens, & Assorted Felines

My almost 6 year old daughter desperately wants a cat.
I’m not sure how much longer we can deny her…but we are dog people. Cats are alright, but I just like the friendliness of dogs better. Am I wrong?
I scoured etsy to find some cute faux felines that may appease my Miss P a little while longer.
If you have a cat-crazy little lady at home, sans cat, you may want to investigate some adorable etsy kitties and adopt a few of your own. You do not need to spay or neuter these critters.
ETA- I must tell you that if we cave and adopt the kitty (I’m sure we will), we DEFINITELY would find her at the shelter or a rescue. Even our current pets, the male guinea pigs named after Disney Princesses, came from a rescue. All of my pets my entire life have been rescues, strays, or pound adoptions. That is non-negotiable. ![]()

Oh my. Cats are so much better! Owning cat says “I have exquisite taste”. Owning a dog says “I have to go scoop”.
How about letting her do the Build A Bear Tropical Hello Kitty in the meanwhile?
Whatever you choose..please choose your local shelter.
I love the etsy kitties!
I agree! Cats are so much easier! We have three and one dog. All are rescue pets. We are afraid however that our girls are developing allergies to the felines. I am terribly allergic myself and live on Zyrtec because I love them. I have never had to give a pet up, but I may have to! I am so distraught! No shelters for us though… just another warm, loving home.
